Apple released iOS 13 on September 19, 2019. This new iOS version requires additional Apple driver support in order to acquire the data from iOS 13 devices.
For Windows 10 users, Apple suggests installing iTunes from the Microsoft Windows Store. However, the version of iTunes from the Windows store does not have the complete Apple driver support that forensic tools like Mobilyze and BlackLight need to acquire the data.
In order to acquire an iPhone or iPad with iOS 13 installed, Windows users need to install the Apple Driver support from either:
1- BlackBag's updated Driver Package (version 1.4) from our website here
2- Apple's direct iTunes download from Apple here
Note- scroll down towards the bottom of the Apple web page to find the direct Apple download
If you have the Windows Store version of iTunes already installed please follow the steps below:
A- uninstall iTunes and all components in the order given within the instructions from Apple Support here
B- reboot your Windows machine
C- install either BlackBag's Driver Pack 1.4 or the latest iTunes download directly from Apple
D- reboot your Windows machine
E- attach the iPhone/iPad and launch Mobilyze or BlackLight
