There is more than one answer to why a MacQuisition dongle or SSD device is not showing in the License Manager app. Please walk through the questions below to help resolve this issue.
1- Are you using a Windows PC?
MacQuisition is built on HFS+ file system which is not supported by Windows OS. At this time, you will need to install the Mac License Manager app on Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) or newer.
2- Are you using the most current version of the License Manager app?
For the most current version of the License Manager app, go to the Software Downloads page here.
3- Do you have multiple BlackBag dongles or USB devices attached to your Mac?
Try ejecting all USB attached devices from your Mac and just insert the MacQuisition dongle or SSD device.
NOTE: if you have SoftBlock (write-blocking software), make sure the MacQuisition dongle mounts as Read/Write.
4- Has the MacQuisition dongle been erased or reformatted?
If the MacQuisition dongle/SSD has been erased or has become corrupt, please follow the instructions in this article to restore the dongle.
