Apple increased security in macOS Mojave and Catalina requiring the user to give third party applications "Full Disk Access" in order to access data such as Time Machine backups, Mail, Messages, Safari, Home and certain administrative settings. This impacts MacQuisition users who want to run MacQuisition live on Mojave and collect this protected data. Follow the steps below to give MacQuisition "Full Disk Access" on the Mojave machine.
1- Go to the [Apple Menu] and open [System Preferences]
2- Select on [Security & Privacy] and then click on the Privacy tab
3- Click on the padlock in the lower left corner and enter admin credentials
4- Select on 'Full Disk Access' in the left margin
5- Drag the MacQuisition app into the right pane
OR click on the + symbol under the right pane and add the MacQuisition app from the Application volume of your MacQuisition dongle/device
Now you can launch MacQuisition and have full disk access to this Mac.
NOTE: If you do not have the password to an administrative account to make the Privacy changes, consider booting to MacQuisition instead of running it live. If this Mac has FileVault2 enabled, you might want to consider creating a Time Machine backup of this Mac and examine the data from the Time Machine backup.
